Free tools. Wonderfully simple.

Understand your screen time, make a plan, and take back more of your day. Everything works right in your browser, privately.

How to choose

Start with the question you already have. If you are wondering whether the habit is strong, take the Phone Addiction Test. If you know the daily number and want to feel its weight, use the Life Calculator or the Distraction Cost Calculator with an hourly value that means something to you.

When you are ready to change the shape of a day, generate hours, not willpower. The Schedule Generator turns a vague goal into specific blocked hours on the days you choose. The Reduction Planner turns a far-off goal into a smaller limit every week that still ends where you want.

Order does not have to be fixed. A common path is the test, then the life or cost calculator, then the planner and the schedule: notice the pull, see the scale, then give the next week and the next hours a structure you can keep.

Private by design

These are client-side tools, like a spreadsheet that never leaves your device. There is no API call, no database, no AI. Your age, screen time, checks, apps and windows stay in the tab you opened.

That also means they do not diagnose, predict lifespan or pretend a cost estimate is exact. The life calculator says so on the card, the cost calculator multiplies distraction hours by a rate you set, and the test frames bands as frequency, not a condition. The clarity is the point: you can audit every number.

When a tool is not enough, Fella is

A plan only matters if something holds the line. iPhone gives you App Limits and Downtime, but both let you tap Ignore Limit with your own passcode. See how to stop ignoring Screen Time limits if that is where plans break.

Fella blocks the apps you pick during sessions you start or schedule as routines, and each session allows one 5-minute emergency unlock. You set a routine from the hours your tools suggest and the block stays on until you decide otherwise, not until willpower runs out.

Browse the apps we block, including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, or compare Fella vs Screen Time if you are deciding which tool should enforce the schedule.
