The feed closes.
The actual work doesn’t.

A Fella routine blocks LinkedIn for the hours you work, automatically, every workday. Email, calendar, and everything else on your phone stays exactly as it is.

LinkedIn is unusual because it can genuinely be work, which makes the feed part easy to justify even when it isn't. If your actual job doesn't require LinkedIn open all day, and it's specifically the feed pulling you away between real tasks, blocking your whole phone is more than the problem calls for. Fella lets you select just LinkedIn and set the hours, nothing else changes.

Select the one app, not the whole phone

Selection in Fella is per app. Choose LinkedIn on its own and leave everything else, including messaging apps and other work tools you rely on, completely untouched.

Set a routine for your working hours and it runs on its own. Weekdays nine to five, or whatever your actual schedule is, starts and ends the block automatically without a manual toggle each morning.

Be honest about whether you actually need it

This is for people whose distraction is the feed, not the app. If your role genuinely requires monitoring LinkedIn for messages, leads, or hiring activity throughout the day, blocking it entirely will get in the way of real work, not just the scrolling. This page is aimed at the more common case: checking a message turns into ten minutes of scrolling posts that have nothing to do with your job.

Still reachable for anything real

A work-hours block should never cut off something genuinely necessary. Each session includes one 5-minute emergency unlock, enough to reply to a specific message or connection request that actually can't wait, and LinkedIn locks again automatically once the five minutes end.

If it's more than just LinkedIn

If other apps are part of the same problem, not just LinkedIn, see our broader block social media during work hours page, or block apps during work for every category of distraction together. For blocking LinkedIn outside work hours too, see how to block LinkedIn on iPhone.

Fella, up close.

  • Built with Apple’s Screen Time controls.
