Facebook closes at nine.
Everything else, business as usual.

A Fella routine blocks Facebook for the hours you work, automatically, every workday. Email, calendar, and everything else on your phone stays exactly as it is.

Groups, Marketplace, and the main feed all live in one app, so "just checking one thing" tends to open the door to the rest of it. If Slack, email, and your other tools are fine and it's specifically Facebook pulling you away between tasks, blocking your whole phone is more than the problem calls for. Fella lets you select just Facebook and set the hours, nothing else changes.

Select the one app, not the whole phone

Selection in Fella is per app. Choose Facebook on its own and leave everything else, including messaging apps you rely on for work, completely untouched.

Set a routine for your working hours and it runs on its own. Weekdays nine to five, or whatever your actual schedule is, starts and ends the block automatically without a manual toggle each morning.

Why one app covers so many reasons to open it

Facebook bundles a lot into one place. A Marketplace listing, a community group, an event invite, and the main feed all live under the same icon, which makes it easy to open for one specific reason and end up somewhere else entirely. Blocking the app removes all of those entry points at once during work hours, rather than relying on stopping at the right one.

Still reachable for anything real

A work-hours block should never cut off something genuinely necessary. Each session includes one 5-minute emergency unlock, enough to check a specific listing, group, or message that actually can't wait, and Facebook locks again automatically once the five minutes end.

If it's more than just Facebook

If other apps are part of the same problem, not just Facebook, see our broader block social media during work hours page, or block apps during work for every category of distraction together. For blocking Facebook outside work hours too, see how to block Facebook on iPhone.

Fella, up close.
