The server can wait
until morning.

A Fella routine locks Discord at the same time every night and holds until morning, so the decision to stop happens once, when you set it up, instead of every night in bed.

An active server doesn't stop when you're tired, and a voice channel filling up late at night is exactly the kind of pull that keeps a phone lit up past when you meant to sleep. If Discord specifically is the app keeping you up and the rest of your phone isn't the problem, a routine scoped to just Discord is simpler than blocking everything.

One app, one nightly routine

Select Discord on its own and set the start time to whenever you actually want to be off it, and the end time to whenever you get up. The routine begins the session on its own, so there is nothing to open once you're already in bed.

Everything else on your phone stays untouched, including messaging, your alarm, and anything else you might reach for at night.

Why Discord is a specific kind of nighttime pull

A server doesn't wind down just because it's late. A conversation you're part of feels harder to leave than a feed you're just scrolling, since stepping away can look like you left mid-conversation rather than just closing an app.

Still reachable for anything real

Leave Phone, Messages, and your alarm off the blocked list entirely, so those keep working exactly as normal. For the one time something on Discord genuinely can't wait, each session includes a single 5-minute emergency unlock, then Discord locks again automatically.

If it's more than just Discord

If other apps are part of the same bedtime pattern, not just Discord, see our broader block apps while sleeping page, or stop scrolling at night for the behavior side of why this happens. For blocking Discord beyond bedtime too, see how to block Discord on iPhone.
