Use your phone on purpose.
Understand the patterns behind unwanted phone use, then choose one practical habit to change. You do not need to make your whole phone unavailable.

Digital wellbeing means maintaining a healthy relationship with technology, not eliminating it. The goal is to keep useful tools without letting automatic checking, feeds, or alerts crowd out sleep, work, relationships, and time away from a screen.
Google also uses Digital Wellbeing as the name of its Android dashboard, which includes usage charts, app timers, notification counts, and wind-down tools. Those features create awareness; blocking tools address a different problem by changing whether an app is available in the moment. For definitions of the behavior patterns behind both approaches, use the digital wellbeing glossary.
