The feed that keeps you up
shouldn’t need willpower to close.

A Fella routine locks TikTok at the same time every night and holds until morning, so the decision to stop happens once, when you set it up, instead of every night in bed.

For a lot of people, the bedtime scroll has a name, and it's TikTok specifically. An endless, algorithmically-tuned feed is exactly the kind of thing that turns "just five minutes" into an hour once the lights are off. If TikTok is the one app doing that and the rest of your phone isn't the problem, a routine scoped to just TikTok is simpler than blocking everything.

One app, one nightly routine

Select TikTok on its own and set the start time to whenever you actually want to be off it, and the end time to whenever you get up. The routine begins the session on its own, so there is nothing to open once you're already in bed.

Everything else on your phone stays untouched, including messaging, your alarm, and anything else you might reach for at night.

This blocks the app, not a setting inside it

Be clear about what this actually does. Fella blocks the entire TikTok app during the session. There's no separate "nighttime feed" to disable inside TikTok itself; the routine simply makes the app unavailable during the hours you set.

Still reachable for anything real

Leave Phone, Messages, and your alarm off the blocked list entirely, so those keep working exactly as normal. For the one time something inside TikTok genuinely can't wait, each session includes a single 5-minute emergency unlock, then TikTok locks again automatically.

If it's more than just TikTok

If other apps are part of the same bedtime pattern, not just TikTok, see our broader block apps while sleeping page, or stop scrolling at night for the behavior side of why this happens. For blocking TikTok beyond bedtime too, see how to block TikTok on iPhone.
